The proposed project includes the abandonment of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant and the construction of a new Wastewater Treatment Plant on an adjacent parcel of land. A new influent screen, grit removal, and influent pump station are proposed at the existing wastewater treatment plant site. The new WWTP includes a Field Erect Wastewater Treatment System with flow equalization, aeration, clarification and sludge holding. The new plant also includes tertiary disc filters, a chlorine contact basin and chemical feed equipment.
