MassDOT Berkshire Line Track Improvement - Phase IV at various locations, including Pittsfield, Lenox, Lee, Stockbridge, Great Barrington and Sheffield, MA. P.V. $7,010,000.00 Project Description: The major work to be completed in this contract is to replace up to 20,250 timber crossties, 183 switch timbers and surface and align up to 72,000 track feet as instructed by the Engineer. In addition, the removal and disposal of up to 1027 tons of scrap crossties, timbers and wood material will be included in the contract.
