Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Cloud, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

A detailed Scope has not yet been determined. The project is include in the city's 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Question Submission Deadline April 18, 2025, 5:00pm All questions shall be addressed in writing and sent via the Portal's Questions and Answers tab. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. It is the intent of this solicitation to engage one contractor to provide roof repairs, up to roof replacement, for City owned buildings damaged by hurricanes. The location of these buildings are 3101 Progress Lane, St. Cloud, Fl 34772 and 1375 South Lake Road, St. Cloud, Florida 34769. The budget for this project is $250,000 Job>nO- CSC010125 The City of St. Cloud is requesting bids from qualified respondents for roof repairs, up to roof replacement, due to hurricane damage. Roof replacement services requested will be rendered for the facility located at 3101 Progress Lane, St. Cloud, Florida 34772 and roof repair services requested will be rendered for the house located at 1375 South Lake Road, St. Cloud, Florida 34769. This project will be partially reimbursed through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable requirements related thereto. 5.2. Scope of Work for 3101 Progress Lane, St. Cloud, Florida 34772 Permitting and Testing o The required permitting and testing to secure a roofing permit shall be included in the pricing proposal, where the following shall be completed in order to pull a permit: Engineered signed and sealed design wind pressure calculation. Miami Dade Product Approval NOA for the proposed system. Roof plan with elevations of deck and parapet walls. Provide roof attachment and engineered fastening pattern in accordance with Florida Building Code. Notice of Commencement filing with Osceola County and fees before the start of the project.Preparatory Work Remove all existing roofing down to the plywood deck. Remove only as much roofing in one working day period that can be dried in with self-adhered underlayment. Water cut off to be installed at the end of each working day to assure a watertight condition. Broom clean the entire roof. Remove all dust and dirt, then thoroughly clean with a power air blower. o Remove roofing debris and cart away to the local dump site or landfill. o Existing decking will be re-nailed to meet Florida Building Codes. PAC-Clad Standing Seam Roof System o Furnish and install one (1) ply of self-adhered Polystick MTS underlayment directly to plywood deck per manufacturer specifications. Field fabricate and install 16" 24-gauge galvanized PAC-CLAD/SNAP CLAD standing seam roof panels. Color to be selected from manufacturer standard color line. Panel system includes all necessary ridge, hip, and valley trim per manufacturer standard details. Miscellaneous Installations o Shop fabricate and install new 24-gauge Kynar galvanized metal drip edge. Set same in mastic and flash per manufacturer's recommendations. o Shop fabricate and install new 6" x 6" galvanized 24-gauge Kynar box gutter. Reinforcing straps to be pre-installed at 3' oc. *Existing locations. o Shop fabricate and install new 5" x 5" galvanize 24-gauge Kynar box downspout. All braces to be mechanically fastened with Zamac nails. *Existing locations. o Furnish and install penetration boots as required as spotlight and other miscellaneous penetrations. o City roofing permit, crane, and other fees shall be included. 5.3. Scope of Work for 1375 South Lake Road, Saint Cloud, Florida 34769 Demolition o Remove metal roofing on front porch. o Remove Four (4) roof vents. New Construction o Install 5V crimp galvanized steel 39-gauge roof panels over 1 x 4 wood strips at 24" O.C. over existing shingles. o Repair decking where existing roof vents were removed with same thickness of decking as existing and install 2 layers of 15# felt over new decking. o Install new galvanized steel ridge vent for full length of ridge. o Install new 5V crimp galvanized steel 29-gauge roof panels on porch roof, repair/replace 1 x 4 wood strips as required. Miscellaneous o Contractor is to verify all roof slopes Contractor to verify all dimensions prior to starting work. o All work shall be performed in a professional manner, and work area shall be cleaned at the end of installation with care to remove all nails from the ground around the building. o Contractor shall dispose of all removed material in a safe and legal manner. o City roofing permit and other fees shall be included.
