The purpose of this RFB is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm to install landscaping on the UDOT owned interchanges along I-15 at 650 North and 700 South including all materials and labor required to complete the project. The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for installing the irrigation and landscaping as described in the construction documents. Work shall also include: mobilization; obtaining all bonds and insurance, preparation of subgrade to accommodate topsoil, installation of automatic underground irrigation system, final grading, installation of plant materials, installation of mulches and metal bed edging, and miscellaneous other construction work required per the Contract Documents and Drawings. Scope of the Project. The scope of the project has been defined in general terms and conditions in the Advertisement for Bids. A short synopsis of the proposed work, labor required, and materials proposed has been also been given there. The proposed bidder must fully investigate the contract documents, drawings and make investigation at the site in order to fully understand the proposed project. . Project Timetable. All proposed construction work, planting, irrigation, and clean-up shall be completed within one-hundred and eighty (180) days from the Notice to Proceed. Work should begin on the 700 South Interchange. Due to possible weather restrictions, the work may be suspended during the winter and resumed the following Spring on a mutually agreed upon date. Work must be completed prior to May 30, 2025.
