The Work of this Contract, consists of the supply of labour, equipment, and materials to replace the existing eleven (11) standard 2-post bus hoists with new in-ground cylinder post-type bus hoists in cassettes and associated components and localized state-of-good repair in the Wilson Bus Garage Bus Repair Area. This Contracts Work is Designated Contract C60-21 - Wilson Bus Garage - Bus Hoist Replacement in Bus Repair Area. Revenue Repair Area: Supply Labour, Equipment and Materials to Replace the Existing Eleven (11) Standard 2-post Bus Hoists With Eleven (11) New in-ground Cylinder Post-type Bus Hoists in Cassettes and Associated Components and Localized State-of-good Repair. The Work Specifically Includes, but is Not Limited to, the Following: Provision of Hoarding and Control Barriers, and Modification and Relocation of Hoarding and Barriers to Suit the Various Stages of Work. Remove and Dispose of the Nine (9) Hoists From the Existing Bus Hoists #2 to #10 in Accordance With Contract Drawings. Remove and Salvage the Existing Hoists #1 and #11, Complete Post Cylinders With Saddles, Adaptors and Power Units, and Deliver to TTC Hillcrest Yard in Accordance With Contract Drawings. Confirm Dimensions of Each Existing Hoist Pit at the Site for New Hoist Cassettes to Fit Partially Demolish Existing Hoist Pits in Accordance With Contract Drawings. Provide a Specified Excavation Shoring System and Install It Before the Start of Excavations. Make All Necessary Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Modifications to Accommodate The Installation of New in-ground Cylinder Post-type Hoists With Cassettes. Install New Floor and Hoist Drainage Piping in Accordance With Specifications and Contract Drawings.
