This document constitutes a request for sealed bids from prospective bidders for the purchase of services and goods to construct a floor drain plumbing fixture in the Juvenile Detention Center at 1000 N Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802. The proposed work includes the following: 1. General Requirements a. Contractor shall procure and conform to the Bid Specifications. Greene County will provide the construction permit required and perform inspections. b. Construction area cleanliness shall be the same or better than when the project began. 2. Clean Up a. Protect finish surfaces from staining and soiling. 3. Walk-Thru a. Following completion of the work, a walk-thru inspection of the project area. b. Correct all defects noted during the inspection. 1. Remove existing combination toilet unit and save for Owner. 2. Remove mirror from wall. 3. Core and sawcut all necessary holes in concrete floors and walls for toilet installation. 4. Insulate any new water lines. 5. Make sure all floor penetrations are caulked or concreted back in. 6. Provide and Install one Detox Toilet with Blowout jet type with remote flush per the attached cut sheet. 7. Provide and install Master-Trol plus Electronic flush valve with piezo Button on front of cell.
