Reference Number 0000266722 Manitoba Transportation & Infrastructure (MTI) requires the structural monitoring and analysis of four bridges with a wireless vibration sensing system (WVSS). The monitoring will collect vibration data from the bridges to create a 3D baseline (signature) of each bridge which is linked to structural integrity. Periodic monitoring and analysis will be conducted to identify any progressive damage or degradation of the structure and provide advance warning of a potential loss of structural capacity. Purpose and Scope The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, requests Bids from qualified Bidders meeting the requirements contained in this Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide: Supply of sensors and ancillary equipment including power supplies Supply, configuration, and installation of data acquisition software Development and implementation of the test program and data collection Data analysis and reporting The Contract shall be for a fixed period of two (2) years anticipated to commence in April 2024. Manitoba reserves the right to extend the Contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each, in its sole discretion. Manitoba reserves the right to reissue the RFQ where, in Manitoba's sole opinion, none of the Bids submitted in response to the RFQ warrant acceptance or where it would not be in the best interests of Manitoba to accept any of the Bids.
