The Gwinnett County Board of Education (Board) represented by Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) requests competitive sealed bids for On-Demand Elevator Repair Services. GCPS is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for Elevator Repair Services. Including Time & Material unit costs and overhead prices. These services will be performed at facilities located throughout Gwinnett County Public Schools. Work may be planned, or unplanned in response to emergency service requests. Planned work will be scheduled to minimize the impact on instructional time and optimize the successful completion of work by selected contractors. This is an on-demand contract. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) may contract with more than one contractor, or as deemed to be in the best interest of the district, for the term specified in the solicitation. Each contractor must provide references that show experience in high volume on-demand general-purpose repair services to be considered for award. Each contractor is cautioned that any contract resulting from a response to this solicitation shall be of a non-exclusive nature. GCPS makes no guarantees with respect to the amount or volume of business billed under any resulting contract. GCPS may award to multiple vendors. Owner Rights: GCPS reserves the right to award to one or more contractors. After the award is made, work will be assigned based on approach, experience, and cost. It is the intent of this contract that the Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and services to complete work as assigned by the Gwinnett County Public School System or its representative. GCPS reserves the right to furnish part or all of the materials, parts, equipment, and services as it appears to be in its best interest. This contract is effective April 19, 2024, through April 18, 2025, or upon award.
