Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kapolei, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project shall in general consist of, but is not limited to, sealing cracks within existing pavement in Road A, Campus Loop Road, service driveways and parking lot. Work also includes seal coat portions of existing pavement, reconstruction of sections of pavement, replacing faded signs along Road A, and miscellaneous related work, as shown on the Plans and Technical Specifications. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES If the Contractor fails to complete the work or any portion of the work within the time or times fixed in the contract or any extension thereof, the Contractor shall pay to the University $ 500.00 per each calendar day of delay. The liquidated damages constitute a reasonable estimate of the actual damages to be incurred by the University and are not meant to be a penalty. Owner Rights: The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects when in the University's opinion such rejections or waiver will be for the best interest of the public. Any of the following may be grounds for disqualification. BID SECURITY In accordance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, this proposal is accompanied with a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total amount proposed. The Bidder shall use the attached Surety Bid Bond form. If the Bidder elects to use other acceptable forms of security listed in Section 2.8 of the General Provisions, the Bidder shall deposit the bid security with the Facilities Business Office prior to the bid due date
