EERC - Materials Exploration Facility This project consists of approximately 30,000 SF of new construction. Existing buildings on the project site are being demolished as part of a prior bid package. The project includes testing, surveying, building concrete, precast concrete, masonry, structural steel, rough & finish carpentry, casework, membrane roofing, joint sealants and fire stopping, insulated metal wall panels, doors and hardware, overhead coiling and sectional doors, aluminum storefront and entrances, deflagration venting, gypsum board assemblies, tile, acoustic ceilings, flooring, painting, specialties, window treatments, elevator, fire suppression, plumbing and HVAC, electrical, building earthwork, concrete paving, landscaping, utilities, and overhead cranes. Demolition shall begin in April 2024 with construction of the new facilities starting in June. Project completion will be December 2025. See section 01 3500 for a preliminary construction schedule. Construction Engineers is soliciting competitive "Lump Sum Bids" for All Contract Categories. No pre-bid meeting will be conducted.
