This Project is for the improvement of drainage at an existing culvert, crossing over Old Colony Creek, a tributary to Colony Creek near Bow, Washington. It includes an. installation of a fishfriendly crossing structure that is designed to meet Washington Fish and Wildlife's (WDFW) guidelines for a bridge or stream simulation approach, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. The time limit for physical completion ofwork is a total of twenty (20) WORKING DAYS. The Engineer's Estimate Range is $475,000 to $500,000. All technical questions regarding this project are to be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in writing to CJ Jones, Project Manager. Bond Notes: No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a surety company bid bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of Skagit County for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Contract Bond covering performance and payment will be required with the contract. Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract and bidders are advised to consider this charge when tabulating bids.
