Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

A of September 19, 2024. Bids were rejected. No anticipated rebid date yet. No bid shall be awarded unless accompanied by Certificate of Organization and Authority, Disclosure of Ownership, together with a list of Subcontractors; and no bid shall be received without certified check for not less than 5%, nor more than 10% of the total amount bid or a bid bond for not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the total amount bid. The time for commencement of the work shall be no sooner than ten (10) days after Common Council shall have awarded the contract and shall be substantially completed by June 1, 2025. The work for this project consists primarily of replacing an existing park shelter building with toilet facilities at Badger-Hickey Park in La Crosse. The existing building and site demolition will be done by the City and is NOT included in the work under this contract, although the Contractor may need to perform some incidental demolition of site remnants in order the accommodate Contractors construction means and methods. These Special Specifications, the referenced Standard Specifications, the Project Manual by River Architects dated August 1st, 2024 and the project Plan and Detail Sheets dated August 1st, 2024 by River Architects govern the performance of the work required. The work for this project will consist primarily of, but not limited to, the following: selective incidental demolition; concrete sidewalks and paving; cast-in-place concrete footings, foundations, walls, stairs, ramps and slabs; structural steel framing, glue-laminated framing and conventional wood framing; wood siding; painting; site furnishings; earthwork; unit pavers; new utility services; plumbing, mechanical and electrical; and landscaping. All bids rejected.
