The City of Arlington and the Arlington Economic Development Corporation are seeking a firm to provide design services for the Arlington Economic Development Corporation Showroom located at 1717 E. Randol Mill Rd. in Arlington, TX. With a population of nearly 400,000, Arlington has affirmed its position as the activity center of the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington metropolitan area. Arlington is seeing renewed strength in the hospitality industry, retail, and corporate expansion. The goal for the Showroom is to create a space to bring important economic development prospects, VIPs, and other high-profile visitors to highlight the City of Arlington through quality design and interesting and interactive exhibits, allowing the space to become a visionary tool for bringing economic development to the City and demonstrate the quality of place that Arlington is today. Proposed Scope Elements: The City and EDC are interested in seeing proposals that focus on a phased approach, with conceptual design and planning comprising phase 1, with the potential to progress into schematic and construction design drawings as a phase 2 of the effort.
