The Atlantic First Nations Water Authority (AFNWA) is soliciting Tenders for the Millbrook Standpipe Rebuild Project, in Millbrook, Nova Scotia. The Work includes the supply of labour, transport, materials, services, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the Work. Also included is all work of a general nature such as coordination, obtaining permits and approvals, clean up, property protection and testing. In general, without limiting the scope of the Work, the Contract consists of the following: - Supply, install and commission a new 8500mm diameter water bolted steel standpipe complete with foundation, piping, equipment, and appurtenances; - Supply and install all linear infrastructure including storm sewer and water main to connect to the existing water supply; - Supply and install all electrical and instrumentation; - Supply and install fencing security; - All restoration work; - All other miscellaneous works shown or stipulated on the Contract Documents; - All as shown on the Contract Drawings and described hereinafter or as may otherwise be directed by the Engineer; - Operator training on supplied equipment, and other relevant operations based on scope identified herein; - Completion of as-built drawings and operations and maintenance manuals for all equipment installed as part of the scope identified herein. All work shall be as shown on the drawings and/or as ordered, all in accordance with these specifications. Estimated Duration of Contract (months): 12
