The work to be performed consists, in general, of: surface treatment of Runway 16-34 and Taxiway A, including removal of existing pavement markings, routing and sealing of existing cracks, full depth repair of isolated sections of pavement if localized pavement failures are identified, and application of slurry seal and pavement markings; improvements to the lighting system for Runway 16-34, including removal of existing lighting fixtures and appurtenances, guidance signage, existing supplemental wind cone and foundation, installation of new lighting system infrastructure and lighting fixtures, guidance signage, supplemental wind cone and foundation, and new REILs at the Runway 34 end; and installation of a new Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI), including installation of new electrical systems and appurtenances for a fully functioning PAPI system.
