2024 Oak Street extension The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 1 LS Unclassifi ed Excavation 630 LF 8" Sanitary Sewer 350 LF 6" Sanitary Sewer Lateral 350 LF 1-1/4" Water Service Lateral 780 LF 18" Storm Sewer 1,790 LF PCC Curb & Gutter, 30" 4,815 SY Base Aggregate Dense 4,815 SY Sub Base Course 895 TN Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement, 4" 1,650 SY Topsoil, Seeding, & Mulch All proposals shall be submitted on bidding forms included in the Project Manual furnished by Kunkel Engineering Group, LLC, and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manual. Bids shall be accompanied by a Certifi ed Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Berlin in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and fi le the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certifi cate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Berlin. Failure on the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certifi ed Check or Bid Bond to the City of Berlin as liquidated damages. The City of Berlin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. Letting of the contract is subject to Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes as applicable.
