The City of Warner Robins will receive sealed bids for the purchase of concrete mix to be placed on an Annual Contract. Orders will be placed on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term. The contract period will be April 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025 with the option to extend the contract for one additional one year period. Prices shall remain firm for the entirety of the contract. All questions must be submitted through electronically by the designated date and time of Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM (ET). Product specifications are included in the Line Item portion of this bid. The bid, if awarded, will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid will be most advantageous to the City of Warner Robins, price, availability and other factors considered. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to accept none, all, or any part of the bid, and to waive all formalities. This bid shall be binding upon the bidder for 60 calendar days following the bid opening date. Any bid on which the bid-der shortens the acceptance period may be rejected. Bids shall be submitted through electronically by the date and time designated in the bid posting. The City of Warner Robins will make award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Due consideration will be given to price, quality as judged by tests and previous experience, and the ability of the bidders to render required services. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to conduct any test it may deem advisable and to make all evaluations. The City of Warner Robins also reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to waive informalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of The City of Warner Robins to be in its best interest. The City of Warner Robins reserves the right to cancel and ter-minate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 15 days' written notice to the contractor. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the contrac-tor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation. The contract shall be for a period of one year from the date of contract award with the option for the City of Warner Robins to modify or renegotiate to renew the Contract for one (1) additional one (1) year period. This option agreement shall be based on services rendered by the Contractor during the original Contract period. The contract shall be renegotiated 30 - 60 days prior to the expiration date.
