To be eligible to bid, the prospective offeror must be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors. The Hawaii product preference pursuant to HRS 103D-1 002 and Section 3-124 of the Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR) is not applicable to this solicitation. All requests shall be received no later than the date specified in the Solicitation Time Schedule. Requests received after the scheduled time may not be given consideration. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is for the FESTOON TROLLEY AND ELECTRICAL CABLE SYSTEM FOR VARIOUS FIRE STATIONS, PHASE IV, Oahu, Hawaii. Provide all labor, materials, tools and necessary for the construction of the project including all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and specified herein. That the time of completion for the Basic Bid shall be within 270 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed and shall include provisions for the following: a. Submittals of shop drawings and materials for City review and approval. Submittals shall commence within 15 calendar days from the date of Notice To Proceed (NTP) and procurement of long lead items shall commence immediately after approval of required submittals. b. Approval of required permits including grading and building permits, NPDES permit, SMA permit, and any other permitting actions, as required. Approval of the necessary permits for this project is anticipated to take three months from the award of the contract.
