Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Secaucus, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of one new rain garden at the existing site of Trolley Park located in the Town of Secaucus. Project Location: North Dead-End of Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus (closest property address is 1631 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ, 07094). 1. The work for this project includes, but it not necessarily limited to the following major work items a) Excavation, testing of soils, disposal, earthwork and grading various locations. See Grading Plan. b) Installation of river rock swale for drainage. c) Planting various evergreen/deciduous shrubs, perennials/grasses, and one tree. d) One informational sign with a stand and concrete pad. e) Installation of new 4' high, black aluminum decorative fence with footings. f) Restore all disturbed areas in kind in the same condition or better prior to commencing improvements. This shall include topsoiling, seeding, and fertilizing. g) All related incidental work, including but not limited to, maintenance and protection of traffic, dust control, soil erosion, and cleaning and restoration. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for the location of all utilities and to schedule all work involved with utilities. Any cost related to this coordination shall be included in the various items in the proposal. 3. Contractors will be responsible for on-site safety and shall provide a qualified on-site safety appointee at all times for the duration of the project. The above Scope of Work outlines the general items and shall not be construed as being allinclusive. Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY Trolley Park Rain Garden Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the TOWN OF SECAUCUS in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 of the amount bid. Any such bid bond shall be without endorsement or conditions. Bids shall also be accompanied by a certificate letter from a surety company stating that it will provide the bidder with the completion bond. The TOWN OF SECAUCUS reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the TOWN OF SECAUCUS, in accordance with applicable law. Bids must be on the bid form prepared by Remington and Vernick Engineers, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside and also bearing on the outside reference to the particular work bid upon.
