Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Contractor hereby covenants and agrees with the Minister as herein provided in connection with the following work, namely: Project #17 - Rte 9 - Colville Rd 2024 Rte 9 - Colville Rd (Section 00902, Station 5723-7168) For a total distance of 1.445 km This section commences approximately 1000 metres north of the intersection Colville Rd and Rte 1 and proceeds north for distance of 1,445 metres. This work includes: Cold planning 2.6 metre strip along shoulder on each side of road (1.4 metres of asphalt and 1.2 metres of existing shoulder material) (55mm) where required, placing asphalt levelling A (55 mm) in 2.6 metre strip cut on each side of road where required, placing asphalt seal B (45 mm) full width and all other work necessary to complete the Contract. A bid bond equal to or greater than the amount stipulated in Schedule A - Schedule of Special Provisions. The bond shall be from a surety company authorized to carry on business in Canada guaranteeing to supply a performance bond equal to 50% of the Contract value, excluding HST and a labour and material bond equal to 25% of the Contract value The Contractor agrees to complete the work on, or before October 25, 2024.
