Project no- 20-3022 Bids shall be on the form provided in the documents, prepared in duplicate as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders and enclosed in an envelope bearing on its face the name and address of the bidder and the title of work to which the proposal relates. If submitting for more than one contract, submit each contract bid in a separate envelope. A Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid, subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders, must be deposited by each Bidder with his Bid as a guarantee that, in the case the contract is awarded to him, he will then, ten days thereafter, execute such contract and furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, and the Bidder shall not withdraw his Bid for a period of forty-five days after the above date of Bid opening, and to guarantee the performance of all other obligations of the Bidders as set forth in Instructions to Bidders. Attention of the Bidders is called to the requirements as to the conditions of employment and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract as well as to other provisions set forth in the Instruction to Bidders. Work shall be commenced and continuously and diligently prosecuted immediately after contracts have been signed. Project Identification: Greenville CSD - 2022 Capital Improvement Project; SEI # 20-3022 1. Project Location: a. Scott M. Ellis Elementary School - 11219 Route 32, Greenville, NY 12083 b. Greenville Middle/High School - 4976 Route 81, Greenville, NY 12083 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Scope of the proposed project includes creation of required exit stair and elevator access/egress corridors within former classroom space, replacement of displaced classroom space within an existing gym station and an addition to replace the displaced gym station. Alterations include classroom, and support space reconfiguration as a result of reprogrammed and relocated interior areas due to exit corridor creation, enlarged prekindergarten classroom, toilet room alterations, new ADA toilet rooms, guidance alterations, restoration of roofing and masonry, existing classroom renovations, door and hardware upgrades, air quality remediation, ventilation, new boilers and fuel tanks, kitchen upgrades, asbestos abatement, new finish materials, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing system upgrades. Work involves work of general construction, site work, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hazardous materials abatement trades. 2. Scope of the proposed project includes an addition to create a larger High School Art Classroom, alteration to increase the existing size of the Middle School Art Classroom, restoration of roofing and masonry, asbestos abatement, new finish materials, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing system upgrades. Work involves work of general construction, site work, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hazardous materials abatement trades. 3. Other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. B. Contract Documents, consisting of the Project Manual and Drawing Set dated March 18, 2024 were prepared for the project by SEI Design Group, DPC, 2 Winners Circle, STE 101, Albany, New York, 12205.
