The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive County Court Facilities Master Plan to address Court Facilities space needs. The County desires a professional Architectural Services Firm to conduct extensive analysis to address issues of functionality, security and space for the Court Facilities, and County Administration, and to implement those solutions as determined by the Board of Supervisors to best provide for the needs of Culpeper residents. The County is seeking a qualified firm experienced in providing a comprehensive County Court Facilities Master Plan to address Court Facilities space needs. The primary objectives of the proposed Court Facilities Master Plan is to develop a cost effective approach for the development and allocation of new and existing Courthouse Space to enhance the delivery of Court services and improve circulation and security in the Courthouse complex in accordance with Virginia Courthouse Facility Guidelines. The Scope of Services includes investigation and preparation of a Master Plan, and preliminary designs and cost estimates for portions of the Master Plan which may occur within the next five years. The intent is to issue a contract for professional services with an Architectural and Engineering firm experienced with Virginia Courthouse Facility Guidelines and space planning for Courts and County Administrative offices.
