Project involves contractor installation of city supplied speed tables at various locations across the city. Locations have not been determined. Approximately two planned per Ward for a total of 30. Disadvantaged Business (DBE) participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this Project for those certified as DBE's in accordance with a federal agency such as the Small Business Administration or the Department of Transportation or by an approved State of Ohio agency. The Unified Certification Program (UCP) administered by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) can provide necessary DBE certifications. Owner Rights: City reserves the right to award to multiple entities. The Director of Public Service reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities. City reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate Contract terms with the selected firm, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive or conditional Proposals. Discrepancies between words and figures will be resolved in favor of words. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the corrected sum. Liquidity Damages: In accordance with Article 6.2 of the Agreement, the selected firm shall be charged Liquidated Damages in the amount of $600.00 for each calendar day the Work remains incomplete beyond the specified time for substantial completion of the Work.
