Demolition, site work and new construction of a detention facility in Wichita, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.

Construct a new Juvenile Services Building for Sedgwick County Department of Corrections, (DOC). Demolish the existing Juvenile Residential Facility and build a new 2-story building in its place combining multiple functions and services for (DOC) under one roof. The Performance Bond, in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount, must be submitted within 30 calendar days after award of contract. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make such requests, in writing only, to Lee Barrier, Purchasing Agent, at Lee.Barrier@sedgwick.gov no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026. The Agreement will include a stipulation that liquidated damages will be assessed in the amount of $1,050.00 per calendar day after Completion Date that the work is not substantially complete.
