Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Audubon, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Disclaimer: To be eligible, contractors MUST purchase plans directly from Colliers Engineering & Design The Project consists of milling and paving, curb and sidewalk replacement, retaining walls, various playground / recreation area improvements, ADA improvements, landscaping improvements, & drainage improvements. All work on this contract must be completed within 75 calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Construction shall be done from June 20th through September 1st of 2024. Proposals must be made on the standard proposal forms included with the Contract Documents in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project on the outside and be addressed to the Audubon Public School District, and must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of the Audubon Public School District for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Owner in a lawful manner. The School or the Engineer reserves the right to require a complete experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before awarding the Contract. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications Bidders will be required to comply with the public disclosure provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2. A The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the following: A. Affirmative Action requirements (P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.). B. The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). C. DPMC - NJ Department of Property Management & Construction Certification required and must be in the Bid Package at time of Receipt, current for 2024; certified for Site Work. D. Anti-Kickback Regulations under Section 2 of the Act of June 13, 1934, known as the Copeland Act. E. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). F. New Jersey Business Registration Certificate (P.L. 2004 C.57 & P.L. 2009, c.315). G. Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran (P.L. 2012, C.25). ***Document Note: Bidders will be furnished with a copy of the Contract Documents by request upon proper notice to the above email address. In the email message, the contractor shall indicate if they request an electronic copy (PDF format) or paper copy. Electronic copies will be provided via email at no charge. Paper copies will be provided after non-refundable charge of $100.00 payable to Colliers Engineering & Design Inc. dba Maser Consulting is received. Paper copies will be sent via UPS or FedEx if the contractor provides UPS or FedEx account information to defray the cost of this shipping method. Otherwise, paper copies will be sent via USPS or can be picked up by the contractor at 2000 Midatlantic Drive Suite 100, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054, 856 797 0412 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM only upon making an appointment to ensure the documents are prepared.
