2024 Road Program HMA Surface Removal, HMA Surface Course, HMA Binder Course, Base Preparation/repair, Curb & Gutter R&R, Sidewalk R&R, Pavement Patching, Sewer Point Repairs, Structure Adjustments, Parkway Restoration and All Collateral Work Included Herein. Site Directions: Various Locations throughout the City of Blue Island. Any BIDDER in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the contract documents, shall email all questions to the Engineer - Alex Schaefer, Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd at aschaefer@cbbel.com. All questions shall be submitted via email by 4:00 PM on March 20, 2024. No questions will be answered after this time DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENT The proposed work is officially known as the BLUE ISLAND 2024 ROAD PROGRAM and further described as a resurfacing project. The work to be performed consists of PCC Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter, Driveway Removal and Replacement, HMA Surface Removal, HMA Binder Course, HMA Surface Course, Structure Adjustment and Reconstruction, Sanitary Sewer Point Repairs, Parkway Restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement as shown and described herein.
