Perform repair services upon request and supply new parts and equipment for replacement by Owner, for OEM HVAC systems located Town building facilities. Services shall be provided by the Contractor for all HVAC equipment and controls, including related devices as per the specification. All repair and/or replacement parts required to maintain the system in its original operating condition shall be of the same quality to existing. Refrigerant replacement and disposal and all electrical shall be included in the Scope of Work. Prior to performing the work, the awarded contractor must submit all cost proposals in writing and for approval of the Building Maintenance Manager. 1. Cost proposals shall contain minimum number of hours to perform the work, labor rate, including crane hire, itemized part numbers and descriptions. 2. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, materials, tools, test equipment and related items/services to perform the work, and must provide service personnel certified to repair and/or replace equipment per OEM manufacturer as listed, but not limited to, below. Authorized certification for all personnel must be provided upon request. Written requests for information will not be accepted after 11:00am on Thursday, 28th March, 2024. Response will be in the form of an addendum that will be posted approximately Monday, April 1st 2024 to the Town of Fairfield . It is the responsibility of each bidder to retrieve addenda from the website. Any contact about this bid between a Bidder and any other Town official and/or department manager and/or Town of Fairfield employee, other than as set forth above, may be grounds for disqualification of that Bidder. No questions or clarifications shall be answered by phone, in person or in any other manner than specified above Questions concerning this bid must be submitted in writing and directed only to: Janiret Graham, Junior Buyer jgraham@fairfieldct.org The Town intends to award a twelve-month contract with four (4) one-year optional renewal terms. The initial contract year shall be effective upon the date of the notification of award to the Contractor through March 31st 2025.
