Bids Will Be Received by the Onslow Water & Sewer Authority (Hereinafter Referred to as Onwasa) to Provide All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Necessary to Remove and Replace an Existing 8" Diameter Ductile Iron Discharge Pipe, Flanges, Bolts, and Chemical Feed Quills With the Chemical Feed Room at Multiple Production Well Sites as Specified in This Request for Bids (Hereinafter Referred to as Rfb) This is an Informal Request for Bids and The Bids Received Will Not Be Made Public Until the Contract is Awarded. Work is to Be Performed at the Following Onwasa Well Sites: O Black Creek Well #1 - 2620 Catherine Lake Road; Richlands, Nc 28574 O Black Creek Well #4 - 482 Firetower Road; Richlands, Nc 28574 O Black Creek Well #10 - 267 Northwest Bridge Road; Richlands, Nc 28574 O Black Creek Well #11 - 111 Old Northwest Bridge Road; Richlands, Nc 28574 . Bidders Who Fail to Attend the Mandatory Site Visits at All the Well Sites Shall Have Their Bids Rejected as Non-responsive. Bids Must Be Submitted on the Bid Pricing Sheet (Exhibit 1), Which is Included in This Rfb Package and Must Be Completed in Its Entirety. The Quoted Price Should Not Include Any Sales or Use Taxes Butshould Only Reflect the Actual Bid Price of the Service And Materials. Eric Adam The selected Bidder will coordinate all activities with Seth Brown, Treatment Facilities Administrator, via email at sbrown@onwasa.com. The selected Bidder shall receive approval from ONWASA prior to performing the work. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to remove and replace an existing 8" diameter ductile iron discharge pipe, flanges, bolts, and chemical feed quills within the chemical feed room. All work is to be performed at Black Creek Well 4, located at 482 Firetower Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540. All materials and work on this project shall conform to the following requirements: Work shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and local codes and regulations governing this project. b. Contractor must possess a valid State of North Carolina Utilities Contractor license. c. Entrance to thissite isrestricted; the work schedule must be coordinated with ONWASA to ensure access. d. The contractor shall conduct operations to avoid damage to well site facilities (controls, building, security gate and fencing, etc.). The contractor shall repair any such damage at no additional cost to ONWASA. e. The contractor will have forty-five (45) calendar days from the date the Notice to Proceed is awarded to complete this project.
