Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rochelle, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 22, 2024 this project was awarded to AA Construction Concrete, Inc with the awarded amount of $658,649.55 City of Rochelle's 2024 Sidewalk Capital Improvements Program, which will consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 37,750 square feet of sidewalk, 1550 square feet of accessibility ramps, 2420 linear feet of combination concrete curb and gutter as well as other associated work located at various locations throughout the City of Rochelle. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the CITY OF ROCHELLE in the amount of Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00). The City of Rochelle reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The City further reserves the right to review and study any and all bids and to make a contract award within forty-five (45) days after the bids have been opened.
