This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 1.68% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner's award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR 26.53. Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct 2-Bay Box Hangar and Associated Taxilane. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Unclassified Excavation (8,735 CY); 6" Concrete Pavement (2,221 SY); 6" Base Course (2,328 SY); 2-Bay Box Hangar (120' x 60'); 2-Bay Box Hangar with 54' x 16' Clear Opening Aircraft Doors; Hangar Electrical System; Pavement Marking; Seeding/Mulching and other miscellaneous items. Norton Municipal, 1225 N. State Street, Norton, Kansas Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Chris Corr, P.E., at 402.458.5056. Contractors may inspect the project site by arrangement with Brice Riley, Airport Manager, 785.877.2201.
