Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Scope of Work There will be curb drops for driveway approaches. Work will include removal and replacement of all or portions of drive approaches. Quantities may vary due to elevation and quality of approach. Bids shall include the removal of existing pavement where the PCC curb/gutter is to be placed and backfilled/seeded to proper specifications after installation. All traffic control, barricading, and notification to residents 48 hours prior to beginning the project will be provided by the contractor. The Operations Division of Public Works is requesting bids for the slip-form installation of 2'-6" curb & gutter, driveway approach repairs, ADA ramps, and sidewalk which will include five different sites/sections. Each section will be awarded independently. All traffic control, barricading, and notification to residents 48 hours prior to beginning the project will be provided by the contractor. ADA Ramps and sidewalks shall follow SUDAS specifications to meet all ADA standards and include City-approved, Contractor-supplied 2x2 or 2x4 replaceable truncated dome panels. Question Cutt off Date & Time 4/1/2024 05:00:00 PM (CT) BID BOND - In accordance with City ordinance, each bid in excess of $40,000 must be accompanied by cashiers check or bid bond payable to the City of Council Bluffs, Iowa, for a sum not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. All work is to be completed by September 30, 2024.
