The Town of Windham is currently inviting quotes from qualified companies / contractors, acting singularly or in consortium, for the reconstruction of 2 dugouts at Griffin Park. The Town is looking for a single turnkey quote. If additional subcontractors are to be used, references and insurances must be provided for them. All work over thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) in total must include a one (1) year performance bond supplied prior to start of work. Total dugouts: 2
Approximate size: 30 feet long and 8 Feet wide
All framing is to be pressure treated including roof sheathing
Roof shingles are to be architectural shingles with at least 30 year warranty
All roof beams are to be secured in a U bracket inserted into the fence post.
All trim pieces are to be Azec material in nature.
All framing must meet today's code including hurricane straps or equivalent for the roof.
There are approximately 9 fence post to be removed per dugout and reinstalled if they are in
acceptable condition. Each post will be cemented into the ground at least 4 feet with a flared bottom.
Concrete slab to be at least 5 inches in depth with reinforcement.
The approximate size of concrete slab is 30 feet long by 8 feet wide.
All fencing can be reused if condition permits.
The contractor is responsible for the disposal of all materials. The Town will allow for the disposal
of said material at their transfer station.
It is the responsibility of the contractor to do all their own measurements and materials list. The
Town is not responsible for improper measurements and take-offs.
The look of the new dugouts will be match existing dugouts.
