Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
RFQP-Kezar Pavilion Renovation - City and County of San Francisco San Francisco Public Works (“Public Works”) and San Francisco Recreation & Parks (“SFRPD”), which may collectively be referred to as the (“City”), announce a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (“RFQP”), inviting interested parties to submit their qualifications and a competitive proposal to provide preconstruction, construction management, general contracting and value engineering services from trade subcontractors for the SFRPD Kezar Pavilion Renovation Project, collectively referred to as (“Kezar”). The CM/GC’s proposals are to include the CM/GC’s team of Core Trade Subcontractors to design-build the Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical (inclusive of low-voltage, fire alarm, telecommunications audio/visual and security) systems for the Project. The total fixed construction budget limit (“FCBL”) is $85 million, with an estimated direct construction cost at $70 million. The Project. Located at 755 Stanyan, San Francisco, CA 94117, the Kezar Pavilion Project will consist of the rehabilitation of the facility, with an addition of new annex Building construction on the same site. The structural seismic upgrade will be designed in accordance with the needs of an Essential Services Building per Risk Category IV requirements. The design is currently at 100% Schematic Design. Work shall identify and comply with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards and ordinance requirements including requirements for an Essential Facility (as defined by the 2025 California Building Code as “buildings or other structures that are intended to remain operational in the event of extreme environmental loading from flood, wind, snow, or earthquakes”), accessibility, and sustainability. The scope of work is to include analysis and coordination to develop and maintain a strategy and check-list to achieve a minimum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification by the Green Business Certification Inc.
