Questions Due Date: Apr 8th 2024, 5:00 PM EDT Deadline to submit Questions via Online Portal The Northern York County Regional Police Department ("NYCRPD" or "Department"), with this Request for Proposals ("RFP"), seeks proposals from qualified Firms to develop a turnkey radio site at the NYCRPD Substation ("Substation") located at: 6115 Thoman Drive, Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. The Department seeks the development a turnkey radio site to include a 180-foot tower (with growth to 250 feet), a 12' x 16' communications shelter, generator, fenced compound, and ice bridge. Another contractor will install all equipment on the tower; this is not a component of this bid. The RFP contains an option to provide a proposal for a long-term maintenance and management contract for the tower. The primary objective of the Department with this RFP is to improve wireless telecommunications coverage at and surrounding the Substation, particularly to enhance the 911 & Emergency service communication capabilities for first responders. The current lack of cell phone, data coverage and broadband internet connection in the area of the Substation hinders the ability of emergency responders - police, fire, and EMS - to provide critical lifesaving services to residents in this region of southwestern York County.
