Perform weekly visits, testing, and record keeping in compliance with the State Wastewater Discharge Permit (14-DP-2524). Collect monthly National Pollutant Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) samples per Clean Water Act Section 402 and provide test results to the USACE Chesapeake City Project Office. Monitor and pump out three on-site septic tanks to meet NPDES discharge limitations, ensuring sewage disposal complies with all applicable laws and permits. Maintain the ultraviolet purification system using USACE-provided replacement lamps and tubes. Supply all necessary chemicals to maintain NPDES compliance and provide testing equipment for chlorine residual, dissolved oxygen, and pH monitoring. Provide a Maryland-certified superintendent and operator with the appropriate license to operate and maintain the facility. Submit a written monthly report to the State of Maryland detailing treatment efficiency and maintenance activities. Complete, sign, and submit all required regulatory paperwork to USACE. Maintain all required auto and personal liability insurance. Comply with all applicable safety regulations, including the US Army Corps of Engineers Occupational Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1. Options for the contract to be extended for 1 year for a total of five years shall be included in the proposal.
