Electrical Systems Maintenance, Testing & Repairs Each bid must be accompanied by the Certified Check of the bidder or by a Cashier's Check, or by a Bid Bond prepared on the form of bid bond attached hereto as Exhibit A, duly executed by the bidder as principal, having surety thereon, a surety company approved by the College, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid submitted, said 10% not to exceed $20,000.00 pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21, payable to Camden County College. Only originals submitted on the College's form Exhibit A will be accepted. The term of the contract to be awarded as the result of this bid shall be for one (1) year from the date of execution of the agreement unless otherwise stated. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the time for openings of bids or the authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the opening of bids will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. Certificates for the above-listed insurance shall contain a provision that coverage afforded under the policies will not be cancelled without at least thirty (30) days prior written notice to Camden County College. The College reserves the right to reject any bids if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such bidder, fails to satisfy the College that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated herein.
