The Project consists of but is not limited to the replacement of approximately 854 - 3/4 residential water meters with new radio read water meters, all within Warwick Township Municipal Authority service area No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Such bid security shall be made payable to the Warwick Township Municipal Authority. All bid bonds shall be in the form included within the Bidding Documents and shall be accompanied by a power of attorney from a licensed surety company as described in the Bidding Documents Bidders are advised that each bidder is required to complete and submit with their Bid a Construction Contracto's Qualification Statement for Engineered Construction in the form contained in the Bidding Documents. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate the contractor and subcontractors not to discriminate in employment practices, and Bidder is required to complete and submit with their bid a Certification of Bidder Regarding Equal Employment Opportunity in the form contained in the Bidding Documents. Notice is given that the project for which bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum wage rates as promulgated under the provisions of said Act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work.
