The Fargo Public School District is accepting sealed bids for resurfacing of 2 gym floors at Davies High School. See Specifications below for types. Davies Gym Floor Resurfacing: o Gym #1 - Approximately 13,500 sq ft o Sand, clean, and apply two seal coats o Screen, clean, and paint all logos, lettering, and borders o Athletic Director to choose colors for all game lines and graphics o Athletic Director to provide line and graphic layout o Apply two finish coats over entire floor o All paint and finish to be waterborne products o Finish shall be all Basic Coating product o Gym #2 - Approximately 11,800 sq ft o Sand, clean, and apply two seal coats o Screen, clean, and paint all logos, lettering, and borders o Athletic Director to choose colors for all game lines and graphics o Athletic Director to provide line and graphic layout o Apply two finish coats over entire floor o All paint and finish to be waterborne products o Finish shall be all Basic Coating product Gyms will be made available starting July 1, 2024. All work to be complete and ready for use by July 31, 2024. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder that meets all specifications. Awards will not necessarily be made based on price alone. Suitability to purpose, design, quality, past service, date of delivery, or other factors deemed to be in the best interest of the District may also be considered. The District shall be the sole judge of these factors. In all instances, the decision rendered by the District shall be final and not subject to contest by others. The District reserves the right to award to any vendor which meets or exceeds the minimum acceptable level of quality as outlined in the specifications. Products that do not meet or exceed the specifications as outlined in the bid documents will not be considered. If the District chooses to consider a product of lesser quality than what has been specified, all parties/vendors will have the opportunity to re-bid that specific product.
