A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Sources Sought for A&E B2401 and B2403 Repair. Architect-Engineering (A-E) services are required to design and deliver completed drawings, specifications, cost estimates, design analysis, and other design package documents for the following project located at Joint Base McGuire, Dix, Lakehurst, New Jersey (McGuire Dix Lakehurst campus). Provie analysis, repair recommendations & cost estimate to remediate the stormwater infiltration / mold growth issues in bldgs. 2401 & 2403. Provie analysis, repair recommendations & cost estimate to correct substructure issues in bldgs. 2401 & 2403. Provide analysis, repair recommendations & cost estimate to modify existing floorplans to maximize personnel occupancy in bldgs. 2401 & 2403 (all floors). The A/E shall survey the existing buildings for verification. The A/E will provide a thorough investigation, analysis, and resolution of the water infiltration, mold growth, code violations, and space optimization concerns for Buildings 2401 and 2403. Project Scope for Water Infiltration, Mold Remediation, Building Code Compliance, and Space Optimization includes but not limited to the following: 3.1.1. Site and Building Inspection: o Conduct a comprehensive site visit and building inspection to assess the existing conditions of the buildings (both interior and exterior). Document visible signs of water infiltration, including but not limited to dampness, stains, peeling paint, or visible mold growth. Identify potential sources of water intrusion such as roof leaks, foundation issues, wall penetrations, or inadequate drainage systems. Assess the extent of mold growth, including its location, type, and severity, adhering to industry standards for mold assessment and remediation. 3.1.2. Remediation Recommendations Develop and provide a comprehensive report that illustrates proposed remediation measures. Specify materials, construction methods, and waterproofing systems required to address the identified issues. Prepare a cost estimate for the implementation of the remediation plans, considering labor, materials, and any required specialty consultants or contractors. 3.1.3. Space Optimization and Occupancy Analysis: Evaluate the current floor plans and spatial layout for opportunities to maximize allowable personnel occupancy. Ensure compliance with all applicable UFC specifications and accessibility standards. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time
