Lititz Borough is seeking bids to replace one office air handler and one rooftop condensing unit with a packaged VAV rooftop unit (RTU) and variable air volume (VAV) zone control. In addition, we are seeking bids to upgrade building automation system (BAS). The BAS must be open protocol. Lastly, it is the responsibility of the contractor to submit ALL documentation for all applicable permits. Each bid should be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check in the an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount. Bond or check shall be drawn in the favor of Lititz Borough. Bids will be unsealed through Penn Bid. Lititz Borough reserves the right to waive any information in bidding, reject any and all bids, select a single item from any bid or the accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Lititz Borough. HVAC Replacement Scope of work: #1-1 Remove existing condensing unit and outside air intake on the roof #1-2 Disconnect and remove the condensing unit's matching air handler in ceiling space #1-3 Cut the roof, install a new curb and flash roof #1-4 Use crane to remove the condensing unit from the roof and lift new unit into place #1-5 Obtain Highway Occupancy Permit to park and use the crane to remove roof top units #1-6 Make all necessary duct, electrical, piping and control modifications as necessary #1-7 Supply and install 13 new motorized volume dampers in the existing ductwork just prior to each existing hot water reheat coil #1-8 Supply and install new room sensors for each coil/damper #1-9 Remove existing BAS hardware #1-10 Provide controls for new roof top unit #1-11 Provide controls for new VAV boxes and existing reheat coils #1-12 Provide open protocol front end controls #1-13 Provide one year BAS service contract for troubleshooting and seasonal fine tuning
