Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chatsworth, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will be funded with 2024 LMIG and city funds. Construction includes asphalt overlay/repaving, leveling and striping on up to 1.3 miles of road including Duvall Rd., Peachtree St., & Lakeview Dr. The work will approximately be 18214 SY of resurfacing around 1884 tons of asphalt. Paint and striping replacement. All work shall conform to the (GDOT) standards and other contract requirements and/or specifications. Project work will be required to begin within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed and be substantially complete within 180 calendar days. All punch-list items will be required to be complete within 30 days of the Final Inspection. Request for Bid Documents and any questions regarding the project or to schedule an appointment to pick- up plans at the City Hall office should be emailed to Jtanksley@chatsworthga.gov.(Questions must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 26, 2024. The City of Chatsworth reserves the right to waive any and all technicalities and informalities, reject any or all bids, and make the award in the best interest of the city. Bid Documents may be obtained at the City Hall Office Location by appointment. Proposers are encouraged to request Bid Documents via email.
