Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Richmond is soliciting bids from qualified Bidders with demonstrated experience providing general contracting services for Canal Walk Improvements solicited by this IFB for the Department of Public Works. The scope of work will include the construction of a ramp extension from an existing accessible ramp on the south side of the canal at the pedestrian bridge crossing near the 15th Street and Dock Street intersection. Retaining walls will be required to support the embankment along the ramp. Landscaping and hardscape will be consistent with the existing Canal Walk. The period of performance for the project shall be 285 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
