Scope of Work for Reno High School: The project is for the replacement of the existing two (2) 3-hour rated coiling doors and steel supports in the hallway of the Theater. Scope of Work for Billinghurst, Cold Springs, Shaw & Mendive Middle Schools: These projects are for the replacement of one (1) existing 1-hour rated coiling counter door between the Entry and the Office at each school site. Basis of Award: All sites will be awarded as one (1) project to one (1) Contractor. Question Deadline: Thu 04/18/2024 4:30 PM* The physical work is to be commenced upon issuance of a "Notice to Proceed" with a completion date on or before August 1, 2024. Each individual bid shall be accompanied by a surety company issued Bid Bond or by a Certified or Cashier's Check made payable to the Washoe County School District, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, said amount to be forfeited to WCSD, should the Contractor to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Contractor's bid and any other contract documents and furnish the required bonds within ten (10) days after the delivery of notice of such award. Bid Bonds, upon request, or deposits of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon signing of Contract, or within forty-five (45) days from bid date, whichever is earlier. The right is reserved by WCSD to reject any and all bids or accept the bid, which is deemed by WCSD to be in the best interest of the school district. WCSD also reserves the right to waive any irregularities and/or informalities in the submitted bids.
