The Long Island Region is requesting an estimated 25,000 gallons of 15% Sodium Hypochlorite (Liquid Chlorine) for the 2024-25 season which runs from April 1, 2024 - March 31, 2025. Delivery Locations are as follows: Jones Beach State Park Sewage Treatment Plant Jones Beach State Park Filter Plant Jones Beach State Park West Bathhouse Pool Robert Moses Filter Plant Park will call as needed During the summer months while the West Bathhouse pool is operational, we REQUIRE automatic deliveries every Monday and Thursday. These deliveries range from 50 - 1000 gals. Delivery Times are 7 am - 330 pm Monday - Friday Weekends : 8 am - 4 pm Deliveries must be made in bulk by trucks that meet all local laws and hazardous material handling standards. Trucks must be able to pump chemicals into tanks from a safe distance from the facilities by drivers or operators with the proper classification of license to do so. Sodium hypochlorite should have only a reasonable amount of degradation and should not be diluted or altered in any way.
