DESCRIPTION OF WORK: o This is an upgrade of the components of the video security system and addition of an access control system. o Work shall include but not be limited to: o Install cabling, security cameras, network switches and servers/storage to support the new and existing cameras plus the growth factor. See specs and drawings. o Replace existing camera monitoring PC's and provide new PC's as noted on the drawings and specifications. o Install conference room upgrades including upgrades of LCD displays, Upgrade AV in Wardens Conference room o Upgrade LCD Displays for Monitoring PC's as shown on the drawings o For new cameras, provide costs to include license software thru July 31, 2029. o New cameras are cameras above and beyond the existing quantity of cameras. Existing cameras and cameras to be replaced already have licensing thru July 31, 2029 o For new monitoring PC's, provide costs to include license software thru July 31, 2029. o New monitoring PC's are PC's above and beyond the existing quantity of PC's. Existing PC's and PC's to be replaced already have licensing thru July 31, 2029 o Fully load the latest Genetec software on the servers and PC's and upgrade all new and existing camera software to the latest firmware that is compatible with the Genetec software. o Provide full documentation and as-builts of network connectivity and camera locations and camera numbers on redlined PDF documents. See specifications for full closeout documentation required. o Add access control to the doors noted. Update door hardware and provide a Genetec access control system. o SEE SPECIFICATIONS TO DETERMINE WHAT SCOPE OF WORK IS PART OF THE GENETEC INTEGRATOR SCOPE (GIS) o Refer to spec sections: 283601 where they include portions of the work that are to be provided and/or completed by the GIS contractor. o The GIS Contractor shall be a Genetec certified Channel Partner o See specifications for standards of the MDOC o Electrical updates shall include but not be limited to: o Refurbishment of existing Central UPS in Admin building. o Installation of new UPS circuits in the Admin building with distribution to user PC's and monitors in the Admin building fed from existing panel. o Replacement of all existing camera 1500VA UPS in buildings other than admin. o Addition of surges suppression and grounding of all external cameras, new and existing. o Grounding of all pole mounted cameras with direct ground wire to ground on the pole o Underground boring and trenching to new poles and camera locations. See Hydrovac Allowance o Ground Penetrating Radar shall be implemented at all underground work areas.
