The Project consists of: Modernization of Three Elementary School Campuses; Meadow Homes Elementary School, Mt. Diablo Elementary School, Rio Vista Elementary School. Work includes, but is not limited to Selective demolition and construction, including associated civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical work. Some work may include abatement of hazardous materials. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California Contractor Licenses: A or B. The Bidder's license(s) must be active and in good standing at the time of the bid opening and must remain so throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to have been prequalified for projects, per PCC Section 20111.6, by the District. Selective demolition and construction necessary for the Modernization of Three Elementary School Campuses, Phase 1, Meadow Homes Elementary School, including associated civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. General alteration of classroom buildings , G, H, I, & J consisting of: Flooring replacement with new material, flooring in-kind replacement at Building G.2, Replacement of all exterior doors with new FRP doors, Replacement in-kind of HVAC equipment, selective repairs of downspouts, slurry seal and re striping existing paving. Accessibility upgrades: new outdoor drinking fountain with bottle filler, accessibility upgrades at concrete walkways.
