Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Chandler, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
In 2002, the City of Chandler purchased 100 acres on the northwest corner of Val Vista Drive and Riggs Road for the development of a future community park. With the population and development in southeast Chandler steadily increasing, additional facilities are needed to ensure the recreational needs of this park of the city are being met. This project includes the design and construction costs for Phase 3 of the park, which will be approximately 30-acres. As of March 25, 2024, this project is in the City of Chandler's 2024-2033 Capital Improvement Program. A firm has been selected for conceptual design.
