Site work and paving for a road / highway in Campton Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of April 18, 2024, project was awarded to Geneva Construction, awarded amount is $816,316.71. The work shall consist of roadway resurfacing including 38,155 square yards of bituminous surface removal, 25,761 pounds of Bituminous Materials (Tack Coat), 2,285 tons of Leveling Binder, N50, 3,480 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix D, N50, and other related work. Prequalification of bidders in accordance with Check Sheet LRS6 of the Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions will be required of all bidders on this proposal. DOT prequalification in category 003 HMA Plant Mix will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Village or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent of bid, or as provided in applicable parts of "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6). The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
