Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Whitelaw, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of May 24, 2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** Replacement of three culverts on Town roads. Sizes and locations are as follows: Shady Lane, 18-inch diameter, 30 feet in length, located 40 feet west of Danmar Road Quarter Road, 90-inch diameter arch pipe, 54 feet in length, located 650 feet west of Diamond Road Parkway Road, 72 inch, 42 foot length, located 3200 feet south of Zeman Road, segment to be replaced is on the west side of Parkway Road at an approximate depth of 21 feet. Pipe abuts a concrete box culvert and the joint is to be grouted. The Town will furnish the replacement culvert pipes and will be responsible for any DNR permitting. Traffic control, signage, and installation according to Wisconsin DNR BMP's shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Each site is to be backfilled and compacted in layers with suitable stable materials. The road surface is to be 1/2 inch gravel at a minimum 8-inch depth. The Town will be responsible for asphalt replacement. Work is to be completed by August 1, 2024 unless otherwise agreed upon. The Town of Kossuth Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part(s) thereof, waive any informalities in the bidding process, and to accept the bid proposal or portion of a bid proposal deemed most advantageous to the Town.
