Resurfacing project. General work description: CSA No. 24 - 2-inch Asphalt Overlay. Pineridge Road off Empire Grade in Bonny Doon, see chart below for locations (Areas marked in white paint in the field, numbered 1 through 6). This project involves the construction placement of 2-inch asphalt concrete (AC) overlay on Pineridge Road. Preparatory work shall include cleaning the surface, removing debris, applying tack coat surface oil and filling in low areas with approximately four tons of leveling course of hot mix AC to a flat grade. Overlay 35,895 square feet of road with approximately 449 tons of 1/2 inch AC hot mix at a depth of 2-inch compacted and rolled to finish. All spoils to be hauled off site and disposed in a proper manner. There are 90 working days in this contract. The estimated cost of the project is $100,000 The successful bidder/contractor shall furnish a Class "A" or "C-12" California State license and the required insurance coverage at the time this contract is awarded, and during the duration of the project.
